As a nurse educator, it is my goal to foster the values of caring for all individuals with respect, dignity, and compassion in my students. My role is to model those values through classroom and clinical instruction of how I treat students so that they will in turn exhibit those behaviors when providing patient care.

I view the learning process as a joint venture in which the educator facilitates opportunities for the student to actively participate in the learning process to achieve their goals and meet established outcomes. It is my goal to impart knowledge to others so that their passion for nursing flourishes and grows as their careers develop and prosper.
